Well I started out making a crown for Emily's birthday, inspired by the autumnal atmosphere (and the materials available at the time...):
That transitioned into costume making:

I built off the dress, which I found at a second hand shop. At first I wanted to go with something water-y, but then found a lot of cool materials that reminded me more of stars and decided to go with a night sky look (also inspired from when I made the paper stars for the paper assignment). And the sash does light up.
I wanted to try out wood working, so I started experimenting with some of the tools and ended up making some cool patterns...and I really like colored markers/highlighters in general, so I decided to add a touch of a different medium to the wood. And...
There you have it! It was exciting to experiment with different mediums and see what happened. It was also really cool & inspirational to watch everyone else work!
