[8] - RamyaM: "Goldilocks sat in the great big chair.

It was too hard. She sat in the middle size chair. It was too soft. She sat in the baby chair. It was just right -- but it broke when she sat on it."

She puts so much effort into sitting in all of these chairs. Putting effort into relaxing? It just doesn't seem right.

What if she could always sit in it?

What if she could actually always sit in it?

Now she can.

I really like the creative problem solving implemented in the design of this chair... and hearing you explain it reminds me of a "dyson" advertisement. i also think that this chair is so inspiring because of the personal interaction each person has with it. had tons of fun sitting in it. great job, ramya!

I loved your thought process and how you executed the idea in several ways. I really think that this would evoke a creative response from the "sitter". Seeing more than one option of sitting would certainly provoke the user to further broaden its purposes. I'd like to see where it could go with some level of comfort, with maybe a cushion or two attached to the piece.

So um... 1. your video = so cute. i loved the little message at the end 2. i think it is so cool how this piece has the functional element of being a chair but at the same time functions as simply a piece of sculptural art that is like interactive and playful.
    very cool.
