My material alchemy experience was a lot of experimentation with adding and subtracting. I started out by creating a woman's body made of paper, held together by clear tape, and ended with a face carved in low relief and covered by beads. In between these I made a table out of wire and pink foam. I was very interested in the combination of contrasting materials.
i love the body you made out of paper and tape! it looks divine. you really tuned a flat object into a cool 3d sculpture. it's also a cool take on a kind of ancient greek/roman kind of statue into something modern!
